Questions
Does Kobbie work in the browser alone?+
No. The browser can't safely read a Kobo over USB. This preview simulates the scan so you can see exactly what Kobbie does. The real scan runs in a small desktop companion app you download.
What does Kobbie actually read from my Kobo?+
Only the list of books already on your device and how far you've read each one. Nothing is written back to the Kobo without your approval.
Is my library data private?+
Yes. Scans stay on your device by default. If you sign in, we only save the shelf you choose to save - private by default.
Where do release dates come from?+
From a curated calendar of real, announced releases. We never fabricate dates. Anything marked "Demo release data" is a preview stand-in only.
